The Department of Education and Training is currently piloting after school care and holiday programs for school-aged children and young people with disability through the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Demonstration Program. The department has engaged PwC to evaluate the implementation and impact of these services.
As part of this evaluation PwC want to understand what need exists for inclusive OSHC, and what sort of services would best meet this need. They are running a survey for all parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities across Victoria to understand what their needs look like, and seek the input of as many families and carers as possible. This will help PwC assess the impact of the OSHC Demonstration Program, and identify future approaches to OSHC for students with disability.
Filling out this survey will take parents or carers around 10 minutes; the link is OSHC needs: parent and carer survey.
